AN EVENING AT THE ROXY, FEATURING THE MUSIC OF GEORGE GERSHWIN, IRVING BERLIN, COLE PORTER, AND ALL THAT JAZZ

Jazz music has always come from the “Great American Songbook,” as well as having roots in the music of New Orleans and the Blues.  Many of the most popular jazz tunes have come from movies and Broadway shows.

The Prescott Jazz Summit celebrates this bountiful history with our show at the Elks Theater, as part of our annual festival.  Our jazz combos will feature musicians from around the USA, Arizona and our own local favorites.  Handling the vocal chores will be Dennis Rowland from the Count Basie Orchestra and Scott Whitfield and Ginger Berglund from the famous vocal group The Modernaires.

Join us for an evening of some of the greatest popular music ever written, played by musicians who know their craft and love entertaining the audience.
